As IndiGo embarks on an ambitious journey to triple its fleet to 1,000 aircraft by 2035, the need for skilled pilots is more critical than ever, with an estimated 5,000 additional pilots required over the next five years. Eligibility Criteria*
Age: 18-35 years on the date of application
Education: 10+2 with 51% or more in each of English, Math, and Physics (NIOS mark sheet and certificate accepted)
Medical: DGCA Class 1 medical before the date of signing the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Agreement.
Language: Fluency in English (Written and Spoken)

The IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program at Garuda Aviation is a comprehensive airline pilot training course designed to prepare aspiring pilots for a career with IndiGo Airlines. - Flight Training: Hands-on flying experience on single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, accumulating the required flight hours.
- Simulator Training: Advanced simulation sessions to hone instrument flying skills and emergency procedures.
- Type Rating: Specialized training on the Airbus A320, aligning with IndiGo’s fleet requirements.
The duration of the IndiGo commercial pilot training program at Garuda Aviation is approximately 21 months. This timeframe includes ground school, flight training, simulator sessions, and the A320 type rating course.
Yes, successful graduates of our IndiGo pilot training program are offered positions as Junior First Officers with IndiGo Airlines, ensuring a direct pathway to a career in commercial aviation.
