43 Air School was built for the purpose of providing an Air Observer School for the Royal Air Force/South African Air Force during World War II. It came into existence on 11 November 1940 and trained over 2000 navigators, bombardiers, and gunners for the allied forces. The school was shut down on 15 September 1946 and subsequently abandoned

43 Air School is an Airline Pilot Training academy that specializes in Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) and during your training you will obtain an integrated Commercial Pilot’s License with experience in day/night/cross country flying on simplex and complex single engine aircraft.

Team Garuda established the relationship with 43 Air School in 2019 and has trained over 100 IndiGo cadet pilots with them. 43 Air School was introduced to the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program by team Garuda and has achieved over 90% success in training through the trying times of COVID-19.
